Transfer: Napoli rejects United’s €103m for Koulibaly

The management of Italian Serie A, SSC Napoli, has rejected Manchester United’s €103m bid for Senegal international and Napoli defender, Kalidou Koulibaly.

Gli Azzurris are not willing to accept a bid from English premier league side, Manchester United, for Kalidou Koulibaly.

GOAL.COM reports that a deal, worth €103 million (£91m/$116m) for Kalidou Koulibaly, was turned down.

Manchester United are in a move to fix their defensive challenges. They were willing to make Kalidou Koulibaly world’s most expensive defender.

President of SSC Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis, refused the bid for Koulibaly, indicating that SSC Napoli wants to keep the Senegal international at the Stadio San Paolo.

Manchester United will hope to convince the hierarchy at SSC Napoli to get the services of Kalidou Koulibaly. United intends to strengthen her back line, before the season ends.
