Senator representing Kogi West senatorial district, Dino Melaye, has been appointed the spokesman of the Atiku Campaign Council by stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

According to GUARDIAN, this was announced at the inauguration of its presidential campaign council in Abuja, on Friday.

He tweeted: “Thank you, PDP for my appointment as Director in charge of Civil Societies/ NGO’S and Campaign Spokesperson in the PDP Presidential Campaign. We shall usually overcome. Light will always rejoice over darkness. Power to the People”.

Also, THECABLE reports that former Governor of Cross River State, Liyel Imoke, was also appointed the Deputy Director-General of Operations; while Taminu Turaki was made Deputy Director-General, Administration, during the inauguration.

This was disclosed in a statement, signed and released by the spokesman of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, adding that the Senate President Bukola Saraki still remained the Director-General of the PDP 2019 presidential campaign.

However, TALKNOW gathered that the campaign council made other appointments, with a view to defeating the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari.
