Super Eagles forward, Isaac Success, has been offered a new deal by Watford, which would see the Nigerian international up til 2023 at Vicarage Road
Many football analysts believe that Isaac’s new found form propelled his contract extension by five years.
Isaac moved to the English premier league side in August 2016, after few years in the Spanish La Liga with Granada. The deal was worth about £12.5 million.
Isaac’s poor form, injury situations and disciplinary issues, in his first season at Watford, relegated him to the bench. He was, however, sent on loan to La Liga side Malaga.
After a season long loan spell, Isaac was impressive in most Watford games, netting three goals in 15 appearances for Watford, coupled with sublime displays.
GOAL.COM reports that Vicarage Road owners announced that the Super Eagles forward has been rewarded for his form for the club in recent times, with a new deal.
Watford’s Chairman & CEO Scott Duxbury said: “This is a just reward for Isaac’s continued hard work and application this season. We look forward to seeing him develop further over the coming years”.
